  • Prices say "rates on request" and the only tariff is a PDF from 2019, so people check a booking site instead.

Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to visit. Here at Breanlee House we hope these pages will give you a little taste of a holiday in this lovely part of Ireland. There is something very special about the Kerry countryside, with its changing skies, quiet lanes and the mountains that seem to look different every time you see them. We have tried to include a few photographs to give you an idea of the surroundings, although of course a photograph can never quite do justice to being here yourself. We hope you will enjoy having a look around our website.

Glencar is a place to take your time and enjoy the simple pleasures of a break away from the everyday routine. For some visitors that means setting out with walking boots and a plan for the day, while for others it is enough to spend a leisurely afternoon looking at the scenery. Even on a day when the weather changes your plans, there is always pleasure to be had in watching the clouds come and go over the hills. We think the quieter moments are often the ones you remember when you get home, and we hope you will find a few of those moments during your visit to Kerry.

Choosing somewhere to stay is all part of looking forward to a holiday, and we know that everyone has their own idea of the perfect break. Perhaps you are planning a few days in the countryside, or perhaps you are still deciding where your travels will take you. Find Us

Breanlee House is in Glencar, Co. Kerry, at the foot of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks. If you are planning your route, look for Glencar on the map and allow a little extra time for the country roads as you get closer to the mountains, especially if you are travelling after dark or stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery. We suggest checking the route before you set out and keeping the directions with you for the last part of the drive.
